What is The Golden Eagle Foundation?
The Golden Eagle Foundation (TGEF) is a 501C Non-Profit organization dedicated to providing sports leagues to the feeder communities of Surry Central High School. We provide low-cost participation in Basketball, Baseball, Softball, and Football.
What is the cost for your leagues?
On average, most registrations are $75 per child. It may vary across sports.
Where are we located?
We are located at 2112 Zephyr Road, Dobson, NC; however, our fields are located at Dobson Elementary School.
Are coaches background checked?
Yes, all coaches have to submit to a background check before they are able to coach.
What are the sign-up registration fees used for?
First and foremost, some registration fees are used in general upkeep and administration of the facilities. We also purchase uniforms and liability insurance.
Baseball:
A jersey and hat are provided.
Softball:
A jersey and socks are provided
Basketball:
A jersey is provided.
Football:
Helmets, pads, jerseys, and pants are provided
